What is a pocket account?

The Pocket Account is a currency-specific wallet inside your trading account.

When you deposit funds, the system automatically stores the funds in a Pocket Account that matches the deposited currency.

Pocket Accounts are used to store funds, not to place trades.

Account Structure Overview

Our platform uses a single trading account with multiple pocket accounts.

  • You can hold funds in multiple currencies

  • However, only one currency can be used for trading at a time

  • This active trading currency is called your Main Currency

How trading works

① Main Currency (Currency used for trading)

On the right-hand panel, check the Main Currency section.

  • In this example, the Main Currency is set to USDT

  • All trades are executed using the Main Currency balance only

  • The Main Currency balance shows USDT 0.00
→ This means trading is currently not available

Main Currency defines which currency is actively used for trading.

② Pocket Accounts (Currency storage)

Below the Main Currency section, you can see Pocket Accounts.

  • Pocket Accounts store funds by currency

  • In this example:

    • JPY Pocket Account: ¥5,000

    • USD / EUR / GBP Pocket Accounts: 0

  • Deposited funds are automatically stored in the matching Pocket Account

Pocket Account balances are for storage only and cannot be traded directly.

③ Why Can’t I Trade? (Based on This Screen)

Current status:

  • Main Currency: USDT

  • USDT Pocket Balance: 0

  • Total Balance: USDT 31.33

  • JPY Pocket Balance: ¥5,000

Even though you have funds in JPY, because your Main Currency is USDT, trading is not available.

④ How to Fix This

You have two options:

Option 1️⃣ Trade using JPY

  • Simply click on JPY pocket account

  • Your JPY Pocket balance (¥5,000) becomes tradable

Option 2️⃣ Trade using USDT

  • Deposit USDT

  • Keep Main Currency set to USDT

Changing the Main Currency does not convert funds. All Pocket Account balances remain unchanged.

Viewing Your Balance in the Client Portal

In the Client Portal (Account Overview), you can see a detailed breakdown of your account.

① Free Margin

  • Free Margin shows how much is available for trading

  • It is calculated only from your Main Currency balance

If Free Margin is 0, trading is not available.

② Total Balance

  • Total Balance shows the combined value of all Pocket Accounts

  • It includes all currencies you hold

  • Total Balance is informational only

Total Balance does not mean all funds are tradable.

③ Balance by Currency

  • This section shows how your funds are distributed across currencies

  • It reflects your Pocket Account balances

  • Helps you quickly identify where your funds are stored

④ Common Situation Explained

  • Main Currency: USDT

  • USDT balance: 0

  • JPY balance: ¥5,000 (not shown in Client Portal)

In this case:

  • Total Balance is shown

  • Free Margin is 0

  • Trading is not available

Reason: Your Main Currency (USDT) has no balance.

⑤ How to Enable Trading

You can enable trading in either of the following ways:

Option 1: Use an Existing Currency

  • Go to the Trading Screen

  • Click on a currency that has a balance (e.g. JPY)

  • That currency becomes your Main Currency

Option 2: Deposit to Your Current Main Currency

  • Deposit funds in your current Main Currency

  • Trading becomes available once the balance is updated
