Overview
Sometimes you need more than just a basic partner link — you might want to know exactly which ad, which campaign, or which post brought a client to BABA Option.
This is where Custom Tracking comes in. By adding extra tags (Affiliate Parameters) to your link, you can track these details in your reports.
What Are Affiliate Parameters?
Affiliate Parameters (AFP) are extra tags you can attach to your partner link.
They help you track details like:
- Campaign name
- Click ID from your ad network
- Traffic source (e.g., Facebook, YouTube, Blog)
- Specific creative or ad variation
- You can add up to 10 parameters to a single link.
Where to Find It
- In your Partner Dashboard, go to Marketing Tools → Default Links.
- Your Default Link will appear at the top.
- Just above the Default Link, you’ll see the Dynamic Parameters section — this is where you can set AFP1–AFP10.
How to Add Custom Tracking
- Copy your default link from the Dashboard.
- Add your parameters to the end of the link.
- Use the format: &AFP1=value (you can replace “value” with your campaign info).
How to View Your Data
- Go to Reports in your Partner Dashboard.
- Click Registrations Report.
- In the report table, look for columns named AFP
- The values you set in your links will appear here, showing which campaigns and ads perform best.
