Verifying your account ensures that only you can access it, enhances security, and removes deposit and withdrawal limitations.
The verification process is simple and only takes a few minutes. Just follow the steps below.
For clients residing in Japan,
you can complete both Identity Verification (POI) and Residence Verification (POR) using a single document.
This means you do not need to prepare separate documents for address verification if your ID already includes your address.
Who is this applicable to?
This applies only to clients residing in Japan.
If you are located in Japan, you may use the same document for both POI and POR, provided that it clearly shows:
Your full name
Your residential address
Identity verification (Proof of Identity)
- Log into your Client Portal
- Click Profile tab and select Proof of Identity
- Select the issuing country of your Proof of Identity and select the respective document type.
- Upload the document according to verified document requirements.
- Click Submit.
We accept the following:
- Driver’s License
- My Number Card (マイナンバーカード)
- Passport
- National ID Card
- Other official identity documents
Once these documents are submitted, verification may take up to 24 hours. If your verification documents have been rejected, you may begin the process again from identity verification. You can check your current verification status by logging into your Client Portal and checking the verification under Profile tab.
Residence Verification (Proof of Residence)
- Log into your Client Portal
- Click Profile tab and select Proof of Residence
- Select the issuing country of your Proof of Residence and select the respective document type.
- Upload the document according to verified document requirements.
- Click Submit.
We accept the following:
- Driver’s License
- My Number Card (マイナンバーカード)
- Utility bills (e.g., electricity, water, gas, phone)
- Bank account statement
- Credit card statement
- Residence permit
- Residence certificate
- Tax bill or tax return
- Government-issued letters or documents
- Other official documents

You may use one of the following documents for both POI and POR:

Important: Name or Address Changes (Japan Only)
In Japan, if your name or address has been changed (e.g., due to marriage, divorce, or relocation), the updated information is often recorded on the back side of your document.
👉 In such cases, you must upload:
Front side of the document
Back side showing the updated information
Failure to include the back side may result in verification rejection.
